I maybe a Notherner, but I don't consider myself a yankee!
I've been to New Orleans amd Lafayette a dozen or so times, and am coming to JazzFest this year. Probably not too far West, but coming to help the New Orlenas Musicians Clinic and hammer a bunch of nails for Habitat!! Will find more to do too!!
Do you have a store front, cuz we would love to stop by and get acquainted and buy some stuff for the trip home?
A few years back attending the Festival International de Louisianne I bought a frattoir. Don't play it too oftne, but I love it!! Also in NOLA I bought a washboard tie, and not only is it cool, but it works and had fun with it partying during the holidays and Mardi Gras season!!
