Turkey Heating Instructions
Turkeys, Turkey Breasts, & Ham Heating Instructions

Don’t worry if, upon its arrival, your turkey or ham has thawed a bit on the outside & is a little warm to the touch. Before we ship it to you we’d keep it –10 degrees and we wrap well so it will still be cold deep inside. All our products are fully cooked, and you can keep them fresh in the ice box for another two weeks or you can re-freeze it for another six months. If yous still have some questions give us a holler at 800-809-7881. We'll be glad to help.
The best thing about our turkeys & hams is they are fully cooked so ya’ll can eat them hot or cold. However, da Geaux Juice flows through the turkey meat a lot better if it’s warmed. For the best results let your turkey completely thaw in the icebox. Then you can serves it chilly .. or for better results …… goes to da next section for the warming instructions.
Warming Instructions
First, remove the plastic bag, ( if there is any juice in the bag pour it in the pan you plan to heat the turkey or ham in, this makes good gravy later ) next leave the turkey or ham in the foil it’s wrapped in. This will help hold all dem juices inside .. mmmmm… dats good!!! Then slide the pan in your pre-heated oven at 325 degrees for about one hour or until the internal temperature is about 150 degrees, the turkey breast & 1/2 honey glazed ham for about 30-40 minutes. The cooking time will be determined by how cold dem birds & hams was when they goes in da oven … REMEMBER EVERYTHING IS COOKED … YOU ONLY WANT TO WARM THEM .. OVER COOKING WILL DRY THEM OUT… If you got a bottle of our World Famous Geaux Juice … after yous slice your turkey please pours a bit of this magic sauce on each serving … Aiee dats good!! If yous got some left over use it for grill’n chicken, fish, or shrimp.
Alls the turkeys & turkey breasts are injected wit da Geaux Juice soos when you cut da meat yous gonna sees all da spices & juices. So some dem parts gonna be spicier than others … Hoo – ya – yeeee!!!

Cooking Turduchens
How to Thaw & Cook a Turducken (and all the other spelling variants including turduckin, tur-duc-hen, turdukens, tur-duc-kens, turduckens, turducens, tur-duc-ens, turdunkens, tur-duc-hens & tur-duck-ens)
It's easy to bring out all the delicious flavor of our tasty Turducken.
Our turduckens arrive frozen. Thaw turducken in refrigerator for about 72 hrs. prior to cooking, or quick thaw in cold water for 9 hours.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Remove plastic bag and place completely thawed bird, breast side up, in a greased roasting pan (non-stick is best), making sure the bird does not touch the sides.
Loosely cover with a tent of aluminum foil and bake approximately 4 to 5 hrs. or until the internal temperature reaches 165 to 170 degrees.
The turducken needs to firm up before transferring and carving, so let it rest 45 min.
Transfer to a serving platter, supporting the back of the bird. Cut the turducken in half vertically from the neck to leg area and then begin carving horizontally the individual slices.

How to Thaw and Cook Turducken Rolls<BR> Our Turducken Rolls arrive frozen. Allow to thaw 48 hrs in the refrigerator prior to cooking.
Take the Turducken Roll completely out of the packaging and place it in a pan. Spray baking pan with nonstick spray and leave the net on. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, then cover with aluminum foil and cook the Turducken Roll for 2 hours. Uncover and cook for an additional 25 minutes or until browned. Internal temperature for a cooked Turducken Roll should be 155-170 degrees.
